Cosne-sur-Loire to Sully-sur-Loire

This section of our walk was wholly dominated by the Loire. We followed it by day and slept beside it at night, which made for easy walking and sweet dreams. We saw nuclear power stations up close for the first time, and the older technological marvels associated with the Lateral Canal of the Loire. Much older again were the handsome châteaux at Gien and Sully.
