Villefranche-sur-Cher to Saint-Aignan

Two short, easy days completed our excursion on the Canal de Berry. The canal ran out at Noyers-sur-Cher, joining with the river Cher which was now navigable for the rest of its journey to the Loire. Both of our stopping places were charming, interesting towns and we enjoyed the Bastille Day parade and fireworks, although not the fact that some village bars were closed for the holiday.
