Tours to Châtellerault

This section follows the old pilgrim route, the Way of Tours, and there are many reminders of past piety to be seen in passing. It goes through the flat, fertile fields of the Touraine, to the old river port of Châtellerault on the Vienne.

Getting to Tours

There is a railway station in the centre of Tours so you can get there from almost anywhere in France. Tours also has an airport.
