Millau to Trébas

For this part of our progression down the Tarn, we entered the ample valley below Millau. After the dramatic Viaduct, the landscape became mild and agricultural, with a sprinkling of villages, two of which were Plus Beau. Most of the time we kept close to the river with its bridges and barrages, and we had one night in an old riverside hotel. The next day we were puzzled by some odd features of the road, but eventually we solved the mystery.
