Mehun-sur-Yèvre to Saint-Amand-Montrond

This four-day section was the last part of our 2015 walk. As usual on canals, the walking was easy, except for a short stretch of rampant regrowth on the way to Bannegon, demonstrating what France would soon become without the constant mowing, slashing and trimming of local councils.

We camped on all four nights, including once on a farm, and had excellent meals every evening, as well as plenty of refreshing breaks in villages along the way.
