Walking in France: Pyrenees

Seven hard days in the Pyrénnées, following the GR10 from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port via Saint-Engrace and Lescun to the twin villages of Borce and Etsaut in the valley of Somport.

This was part of a longer walk that we did in 2003.

Getting to Saint-Jean-Pied-Port

Saint-Jean-Pied-Port has a railway station so you can get there from almost anywhere in France.

Day 2: Esterençuby to Col Bagargiak

Day 3: Col Bagargiak to Logibar

Day 4: Logibar to Saint-Engrace

Day 5: St-Engrace to
                 Arette la Pierre Saint-Martin

Day 6: Arette la Pierre St-Martin to Lescun

Rest Day: Lescun

Day 7: Lescun to Etsaut
